Biographical Sketch

Dong was born in 1977. He received his B.S in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China in 1998. Three years later Dong recieved his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University, where he worked on fragile watermarking for image content verification. Dong received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2005. Some of his favorite sports are basketball, soccer and volleyball.

Research Interests

Dong's areas of research included image processing, deformable models.
